If you plan to come to Spain and renting a car to travel through its many cities, I recommend you make sure that the car you rent has a GPS or bring your own before heading anywhere, or at least grab some maps. Although, the roads and highways are well designed many small cities don’t have any names on their streets and if you try asking for directions here is what you will get…..(that is if you understand Spanish or very broken English if not then, good luck!)

Oh, you want to go there.. Sure that is easy.. Ok, you need to go straight ahead and when you come to a rotonda you go around, then you will see the shopping center, you know the one where they have all the great stores (and here a Spaniard will go on and on about something or other)..ok, where were we, oh yes ok, after the shopping center, there is a statue, an ugly one at that and you pass it.. you will then see the tree to your right make a left, go down 2 or 3 lights, there should be Paco on the street corner (what if he is not there??) and you make a right and you should be there!!!!! Well, let me tell you, even if you do get to where you were directed it will not be the place you want to go and you will have to start all over again with a new direction giver..

I’m just kidding , it’s not that bad but you should be prepared when you travel in case you do get lost..
